What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a news anchor! I love story telling and researching to find out the “why” so I felt that would be a great profession to live that dream.

Why did you become involved in the organization?

My career in nonprofit has mainly been as a funder. I wanted to flip that and work with a team that is directly providing services to children and families. I feel that my experience as a funder will help Candelen uncover new opportunities to continue our growth.
